Man hospitalised after alleged assault in the county

Investigations are ongoing into an alleged assault in the county on Sunday.
Gardaí are investigating the incident which took place in Strokestown yesterday, October 19th.
At around 11:00pm, Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene at Elphin Street.
A man, aged in his 40s, was brought by ambulance to Mayo University Hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
