Man taken to hospital following County Roscommon house fire

A man in his 60s has been hospitalised following a chimney fire at a property in County Roscommon in the early hours of Monday morning.
Gardaí and fire services attended the scene of the fire in the Ballinagare area at around 1.30 a.m..
The house was badly damaged in the chimney fire. The sole occupant of the house at the time, a man in his 60s, was brought to Sligo University Hospital.
