A missing Galway man has been found safe and well.

On Sunday Gardaí issued an appeal seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 23-year-old Robert Murphy from Claregalway, County Galway, who had been missing since Thursday, December 28th.

He was last seen in the Galway City area.
