Mary Lavin has retired from King House, Boyle as a tour guide and cultural assistant.
In her nine years Mary impressed visitors with her vast knowledge of the history and stories of King House, which celebrates its 30th anniversary next month.
King House was opened in 1995 by Roscommon County Council following an extensive renovation programme.
