A popular County Roscommon club footballer and hurler has been wished every success on his wedding day.
Paul Kenny from Oran GAA Club married Beth Hoare on Friday where they were joined by family and friends.
Paul, who plays hurling and football with Oran, also donned the Primrose and Blue of Roscommon at underage level, scoring a goal in the 2015 Connacht U-21 football final as the Rossies saw off Galway in a thriller, 3-14 to 3-11, at Tuam Stadium.
That team featured Ronan Daly, Shane Killoran, Ultan Harney, Diarmuid Murtagh and Enda Smith who are part of the Roscommon senior football squad for Saturday’s Connacht SFC quarter-final against London in Ruislip.
Paul comes from a popular sporting family, with his twin brother Cathal, Eamonn and Damien also spearheading Oran’s challenge for honours in both hurling and football in recent years.
