Proud day for Roscommon basketballer who lines out with son
Father and son, Paul and Kevin Freeman.
It was a proud family occasion last weekend for Loughglynn native Paul Freeman who lined out with his son Kevin on the same basketball team.
Kevin made his debut for Castlebar-based Mayo Meteors alongside his father Paul, who is a former Irish international.
Clearly, Kevin got the height gene too as we understand his Dad stands at about six foot seven inches.
While the game against Clare Crusaders didn’t go their way – the team was pipped 78-73 – it was still a memorable game for the two Freemans and their family.
