Roscommon business offering complimentary food to those without electricity

Old Stone House Restaurant.
A County Roscommon business is offering food and drink to people still without power.
The Old Stone House Restaurant in Ballinlough said that many people in its local communities are still without power and water.
Yesterday, it announced that while the restaurant is not open, people can call in today, Bank Holiday Monday, from 12 pm to 3 pm for complimentary soup, tea/coffee, hot chocolate, and water. They can also charge their phones.
People are asked to please bring flasks/containers for the hot liquids.
Due to Storm Éowyn, the well known and popular restaurant was forced to dump about €15,000 worth of food which had been refrigerated. The wasted stock includes striploin steak, T-Bone steak, fish, and desserts.
