Roscommon Gardaí have praised the organisers of the Sliabh Bán AC Strokestown 10K Road Race, which took place yesterday.
The community policing unit from Boyle Garda Station provided assistance for the event's road traffic management.
“A huge word of thanks to all the participants, marshals, the Civil Defence and motorists travelling along the N5 for their support, patience and compliance, which was invaluable in ensuring the safety of all road users for this great annual event,” local Gardaí said.
