Little Blue Heroes welcomes newest members
Roscommon Gardaí recently welcomed two new local members of the fantastic Little Blue Heroes.
Induction packs were presented recently to the two newest 'Little Blue Heroes' in the Castlerea Community Engagement area.
They are Jack Mc Dermott assigned to Ballinlough Garda Station and Hayley Bird who is assigned to Castlerea Garda Station.
“The families of both of these honorary Garda members wished to express their sincere gratitude for the gifts that they received and the continued support provided to them by the Little Blue Heroes Foundation,” Roscommon Gardaí said.
Little Blue Heroes Foundation, established in 2017, is a not-for-profit registered charity voluntarily led by Garda members, retired Garda members and civic minded people from local communities.
Its vision is to support families of children with serious illnesses in Ireland while empowering the lives of children through positive community engagement.
