Roscommon man to feature in new Titanic TV series

A young South Roscommon actor’s star continues to rise as he will soon feature in a BBC mini-series about the sinking of the Titanic.
Speaking to the Roscommon Herald earlier this year, the Kiltoom man Rhys Mannion said he was delighted to be in the forthcoming series on the iconic and tragic ship’s first and only transatlantic voyage.
The four part series relives the Titanic story through the experiences and personal testimony of the passengers and crew on board.
The production company behind the series has just released new images of the dramatised documentary, including one of Rhys who plays First Class passenger Jack Thayer.
