Roscommon motorists are being warned of flash flooding across the county following heavy rainfall as Storm Amy brings damaging winds across Ireland.
The severe weather has made driving conditions extremely hazardous in some areas of the county, with reports of flash flooding on several roads.
Sections of the N60 between Roscommon and Castlerea are flooded, notably the Castlerea side of Ballymoe and the road near Oran GAA pitch.
The county is under a Status Yellow rainfall warning for today and a Status Yellow wind warning on Friday.
The worst of the winds from the first named storm of the season are expected along the western and north-western seaboard.
