Roscommon student wins Best Dressed prize at the races

A Roscommon student won the Best Dressed competition at the Galway Student Race Day on Bank Holiday Monday at Galway Racecourse.

Maria Campbell from Creevy, Roscommon Town, daughter of David and Teresa Campbell, picked up the award sponsored by Canella Lane.

Maria is a student of Environmental Health in Dublin.

The Galway Student Race Day is organised by the Voluntary Services Abroad (VSA) and NUIG Rugby Club. This popular race day raises funds for the VSA, a medical aid charity run by fourth year medical students of NUI, Galway.
