A County Roscommon woman was chosen as one of five finalists for ‘Friday’s Most Stylish’ sponsored by Athlone Towncentre at the Galway Races.

Laura Hanlon’s style was vibrant and refined as she wore a lemon yellow tiered belted midi dress by Canella Lane complemented by deep cream slingback heels from Next. Milliner Laura from Fuerty elevated her look with an elegant lemon yellow pearl swirl headpiece she made herself and a chic pearl box clutch bag which she embellished.

Clodagh Cosgrove from Athlone was named as the winner of ‘Friday’s Most Stylish’. Wearing a purple and orange dipped hem midi dress by Mannit, which she bought in Spain and had previously worn to a wedding, Clodagh elevated her look with shoes and jewellery from Zara as well as a handbag she bought from Depop. She completed her race going outfit with a purple tilted hat which arrived that morning, which she also purchased from Depop. The easy elegance of her outfit perfectly complemented Friday Summer evening racing in Ballybrit.

One of the key reasons Clodagh was chosen as winner of Athlone Towncentre ‘Friday’s Most Stylish’ was due to the way she created a wholly individual look incorporating pieces from high street stores and an independent designer which are reflective of the variety of retailers housed in Athlone Towncentre.

Clodagh took home the biggest prize fund on offer for the competition yet, a luxury shop and stay break, which is worth in excess of €4500. She won a €2500 Athlone Towncentre Gift Card, a two night stay in the four star Sheraton Athlone Hotel in a deluxe tower room with dinner and spa treatments and a €500 voucher courtesy of Fields The Jewellers, who are one of the many retailers located in Athlone Towncentre.
