Search for missing County Roscommon woman stood down 

The search for a missing County Roscommon woman has been stood down following the discovery of a body earlier today, Gardai have confirmed.

“Following the discovery of a woman's body earlier today, the missing person appeal for Niamh Hand, 41 years, Roosky  has been stood down,” Gardai said this evening.

“We would like to thank the media and public for their assistance in this matter,” they said.
