Motorists using the N61 at Ballymurray can expect delays over the next five weeks from next Tuesday as a major pavement improvement scheme gets underway.
Roadworks on the N61 Ballymurray Pavement Scheme are scheduled to commence on Tuesday, September 1st and are expected to continue for approximately five weeks.
Works will take place daily between 8 a.m, and 6 p.m., with stop/go traffic lights in operation throughout the project. The traffic management system is expected to result in delays for motorists travelling through the area.
Road users are being advised to allow extra time for their journeys and to exercise caution when approaching the works zone.
The improvement works are being carried out by the Roads Department of Roscommon County Council.
