Two women in their 60s have been hospitalised following a road traffic collision in County Roscommon this afternoon, Saturday.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a two-vehicle road traffic collision which occurred near Castlerea shortly after 2.30 p.m. today.
Two women, both aged in their 60s, were taken to hospital for treatment.
The Roscommon Herald understands that the collision occurred near the railway bridge between Castlerea and Ballinlough, on the Ballinlough side of the bridge.
Gardaí have said enquiries are ongoing.
