Adam Meghen is hoping to compete in the IFMA Youth World Championships in Greece this November.

A fundraiser has been established to help Croghan native Adam Meghen represent his country in Muay Thai.

Carrick-on-Shannon Muay Thai Club is currently fundraising to help send Adam to compete at the IFMA Youth World Championships in Greece this November.

The son of Stephen and Fiona Meghen recently won the IMO Irish Junior Muay Thai Title in Dublin. He has been training with Carrick-on-Shannon Muay Thai Club for close to three years and has been praised for his work ethic.

He has previous experience on the big stage, having secured a European gold medal in November 2024.

The Junior World Championship is set to take place from November 6 to November 16, and the club is looking to raise €2,000 to send Adam over.
