The Roscommon senior hurlers have been boosted by the return of one of the county’s key forwards.
Paddy Fallon from Oran — last season’s top scorer with 1-63 in the Roscommon Senior Hurling Championship — will be part of the panel for 2026.
New manager, Brian Hanley, has confirmed Fallon’s return ahead of the team’s National Hurling Division Three League, which gets underway against Wicklow at King and Moffatt Dr. Hyde Park on Sunday week.
However, Hanley will have to plan without two key players for the start of the campaign at least. Last year’s joint captain Conor Cosgrove — who lifted the Nickey Rackard Cup alongside Conor Mulry in Croke Park and was Player of the Match in the final against Mayo — is going travelling, while Seán Canning is currently part of Mark Dowd’s senior football panel.
