Dr. Hyde Park to host two provincial championship games in April

Dr. Hyde Park is set to host two provincial senior football championship games next month.
The county's flagship GAA ground is set to host the Connacht SFC quarter-final between Leitrim and Sligo in early April.
It was Leitrim’s turn to host the fixture on April 7th at 3 p.m., but Avant Money Páirc Seán MacDiarmada in Carrick-on-Shannon will be out of commission for the match as it’s due to undergo redevelopment works.
Leitrim decided to nominate Dr. Hyde Park as the county’s home venue for the fixture, a ground that holds fond memories for Leitrim supporters following their Connacht championship triumph in 1994.
However, Sligo’s last provincial senior championship triumph in the province also came in the Hyde in 2007.
April is set to be a busy month for the Hyde, which is on course to open its brand new open seating section under the main stand.
The Roscommon Town stadium will also host the Connacht SFC semi-final between Roscommon and the winners of Mayo/New York on April 21st.
