A crucial penalty save from Helena Cummins alongside a winning point in the fourth minute of injury time from substitute Megan McKeon sealed Roscommon's passage to Division Two and a place in this year's league final.

Offaly provided stiff opposition for Ollie Lennon's charges at Enfield this afternoon, but Roscommon found a way to seal promotion and qualify for a league final against Clare on Saturday, April 6th, in Birr.

Roscommon were 1-6 to 1-4 ahead at half time but it took a crucial save from Cummins from an Offaly penalty to ensure that the home side remained in the hunt.

With a draw looking likely following Ellee McEvoy's equaliser for Offaly, McKeon scored a famous winner deep into additional time to ensure that Roscommon will be playing at a higher level next season.
