Predicted heavy overnight rain has forced Roscommon GAA to make changes to Sunday afternoon’s county senior hurling championship semi-finals, which had been scheduled for Ballyforan.

One of the games will stay in Ballyforan, while the second semi-final has been switched to Kiltoom.

Oran will meet St. Dominic’s at the earlier time of 1.30 p.m. at St. Aidan’s GAA grounds, Ballyforan, while the second semi-final between defending champions, Four Roads, and Pádraig Pearses will now be played in Kiltoom at the later time of 4.30 p.m..

Dates, venues and times for next weekend’s county senior, intermediate and Junior A football championship quarter-finals are expected to be released by Roscommon GAA later this weekend, but a poor weather forecast next week is likely to make it challenging to find suitable venues for all 12 games down for decision.
