A referee with strong links to Roscommon camogie will referee this year’s All Ireland hurling final.

Killimor’s Liam Gordon will take charge of the meeting between Cork and Tipperary on Sunday, July 20th.

Gordon was in charge of the Athleague side that reached the All Ireland Junior Club Camogie final in December 2023.

He has also been part of the Roscommon junior camogie team’s management.

Gordon is no stranger to big games, having also refereed the 2019 U-20 final between Cork and Tipperary, the 2020 Joe McDonagh Final, the 2024 Munster Hurling Final, and the AIB All-Ireland Senior Club Final in 2025.

In this year’s Hurling Championship, Liam has refereed Clare v Cork and Limerick v Cork in the Munster Championship, Antrim v Dublin in the Leinster Championship, along with the All-Ireland Quarter Final involving Dublin v Limerick.

In the Allianz League, he was referee between Wexford v Kilkenny, Tipperary v Cork, and Clare v Cork.

His line umpires on the day will be Dublin’s Seán Stack and Waterford’s Thomas Walsh. Seán will be the standby referee, and the Sideline Official will be Colm McDonald from Antrim. Dickie Murphy from Wexford will be the Hawk-Eye Official.
