Roscommon senior football manager Davy Burke has added a new name to his management team for next season.
Lar Wall has agreed to join Burke, Mark McHugh and Eddie Lohan in the Rossies’ set-up for 2024, replacing Gerry McGowan who stepped away at the end of the 2023 campaign.
Wall guided Westmeath outfit, The Downs, to last year’s Westmeath county senior football title — the club’s first crown in 17 years. They went on to contest the Leinster club football final where they were defeated by eventual All-Ireland champions, Kilmacud Crokes.
Wall also enjoyed a productive stint with Gaeil Colmcille in Meath, leading them to the county final in 2020 where they lost by a point to Ratoath after a conceding a goal eight minutes into injury time.
He is a former player with Arles-Kilcruise in County Laois.
