Roscommon will play Derry in this year's All-Ireland Minor Football Championship quarter-final after Friday evening's Ulster final in Letterkenny.

Tyrone retained their provincial crown by 2-16 to 1-12, thanks to a commanding second-half performance, meaning Shane Moran's Connacht champions will face the Oak Leaf County in the last eight.

Derry were 1-7 to 1-5 ahead at half time, but couldn't sustain that effort as Tyrone, who beat Roscommon in last year's All-Ireland semi-final, produced an impressive performance in the third quarter to run out comfortable winners.

Roscommon's game against Derry, alongside Galway's meeting with Tyrone, will takes place on the weekend of June 6th and 7th.

It remains to be seen if both games will be played as a double header, with Kingspan Breffni in Cavan in the pipeline as a possible venue.
