Roscommon boxer Aoife O’Rourke has been ranked No. 1 in the world in her weight division, according to the first ever World Boxing year-end rankings.
The current 75kg world champion is the top ranked amateur boxer in her category while sister Lisa is ranked 6th in the world in the 70kg weight division.
The competitions that contributed to these rankings include the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the 2025 World Boxing Championships.
