Two Roscommon rugby players scored tries which helped their teams to victories in the Celtic Challenge tournament

There was plenty of local interest in the Irish Wolfhounds and Clover teams that secured victories

The tournament takes place next month

A young County Roscommon woman scored one of Ireland’s tries during their victory against Italy and the U-18 Six Nations Festival in Wales this afternoon. Sarah Purcell grabbed her side’s second try in the 20-0 victory against Italy.
