Man (60s) dies in Waterford crash

A man in his 60s has died in a crash in Co Waterford.
The crash, which involved two cars, occurred shortly before 1.50pm on the R680 at Adamstown, Kilmeaden, Co Waterford on Monday.
A male driver of one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was brought to the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford where a postmortem will take place in due course.
The coroner has been notified.
No other injuries were reported at the scene.
The road was closed for forensic examination but has since reopened.
Gardaí have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
Road users who may have camera or dashcam footage and were travelling on the R680 at Adamstown, Kilmeaden, Co Waterford between 1pm and 2pm on Monday have been asked to make their footage available to investigating gardaí.
