County Roscommon repair and reuse champion nominated for award

A Roscommon woman has been named as a finalist for the Full Circle Awards 2026, recognising individuals, organisations and community groups who are leading the way in circular living, reuse, repair and sustainability in their local communities.
Michelle Fallon from Corbo, Roscommon makes circular living approachable by sharing practical ways for people to repair, reuse and choose second hand in their everyday lives.
She designs and makes handmade gifts, homewares, dolls and lots more from her County Roscommon cottage. When she’s not making she loves sharing her creative and business skills through workshops, both at the cottage and online.
She has a love for all things vintage and old and a growing desire to keep her crafts as eco-friendly as possible. She returned to Ireland from London and New York in 2008 and lovingly renovated her granny’s cottage. She loves rummaging in charity and second hand shops, online auction sites and antique markets for DIY projects and upcycles. When she’s not shopping she’s foraging the hedgerows for greenery for her infamous tablescapes.
The awards recognise impact across six categories including Repair and Reuse Champion, Community Circular Champion, Creative Circular Design, Circular Living Advocate, Best Community Campaign and Circular Sports Champion. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony taking place in Carlow on September 17th
