Gardaí renew appeal for help in tracing missing County Roscommon man

Gardaí are seeking help in tracing Thomas Egan who has been missing since Sunday.

Gardaí are renewing their appeal for the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 36-year-old Thomas Egan, who is reported missing from Ballymurray, Knockcroghery, since Sunday, October 12th.

Thomas was seen on Friday, October 10th at approximately 2.35 p.m. cycling from Knockcroghery towards Athlone.

There was a sighting of Thomas on Connaught Street in Birr, County Offaly on Monday afternoon,  October 13th.

Thomas is described as being 6 foot 2 inches in height, with a medium/strong build, dark brown curly hair and a beard. He has green eyes.

When last seen, Thomas was wearing a green jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and black runners. He has a black backpack and black bicycle helmet with a red band on the bottom.

Gardaí and Thomas’ family are concerned for his well-being.
