Repairs have successfully been completed and the water treatment plant is back in production. As reservoir levels return to normal customers in the following areas may experience low pressure: Brideswell, Corrowduff, Taughmaconnell, Dysart, Moore, Parkmore, Kilgarve and Ballydanagan.
It may take some time for the full supply to be restored for customers on higher ground and at the end of the network.
Uisce Éireann’s Gerard Greally thanked those affected for their patience while the mechanical issues were addressed.
“We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned outage and we thank customers for their support,” said Mr Greally.
