Roscommon clubs on the lookout for new managers

A number of Roscommon GAA clubs will have new managers in charge of their flagship men’s football teams in 2024.
According to
columnist, Willie Hegarty, former Roscommon and St. Brigid’s player, Frankie Dolan, has stepped away from O’Rourke Cup champions, Roscommon Gaels, after spending two years at the helm.After leading St. Dominic’s to the 2022 intermediate football championship, Tomás Gilleran has departed the Knockcroghery-based club after four years in charge.
John Rogers, who guided Strokestown to the senior football championship for the first time in 20 years season has also moved on, while former Leitrim senior footballer, Seamus Quinn, has left defeated intermediate football championship semi-finalists, Elphin, after only one year in charge.
It is also understood that Kilbride, Kilmore and Kilglass Gaels are also on the lookout for new managers.
