Together Standing Tall: 150 Years of Irish Rugby by Curraghboy native, John Scally, is the official IRFU story of Irish rugby, marking the union's 150th anniversary.

It was launched at Dubray Book, Grafton, Street, Dublin.

The book, which contained a foreword by Irish rugby legend Paul O’Connell, examines the scaffolding that upholds Irish rugby today — the provinces, the clubs, the schools and the underage structure.

The who’s who of Irish rugby are interviewed in the book, including Ollie Campbell, Peter Clohessy, Fiona Coghlan, Ciaran Fitzgerald, Jack Kyle, Paul O'Connell, Brian O'Driscoll, Ronan O'Gara, Tony O'Reilly, Joe Schmidt, Fiona Steed and Tony Ward.

Beautifully illustrated with over 150 photographs from INPHO photographic agency, the book captures the richness of the story of Irish rugby.

Mr Scally has written a number of well-known books on different sports alongside producing award-winning radio documentaries.

Together Standing Tall: 150 Years of Irish Rugby is now available nationwide.
