Roscommon minor football manager, James Duignan, and his management team have stepped down from their roles, the Roscommon Herald understands.

Duignan, who has been involved for the last four years — one as a selector with Enda Nugent and the last three years as manager — led the young Rossies to this year’s Connacht final where they were defeated by Mayo before being soundly beaten by Kerry in the All-Ireland quarter-final.

Duignan’s management team included coaches Declan Hoare, Stephen Bohan and Shane Moran, kitman Robbie Glennon, James O’Boyle and Chris O’Dowd on stats, and goalkeeping coach, Stephen Kennedy.
