Roscommon’s Daire Cregg has been shortlisted for GAA.ie Player of the Week.

The Boyle man kicked 1-7 in Pearse Stadium on Saturday last as Roscommon secured their third league win on the bounce.

Out of that tally, 1-5 came from play as Cregg kicked crucial scores in helping Roscommon come from 13 points behind to secure a 2-16 to 0-21 triumph.

Cregg’s scoring contribution in Salthill took his scoring tally to 1-26 across the four league games to date.

The inside forward is one of three players shortlisted for the award.

Mayo’s Jordan Flynn, who kicked 0-5 for Mayo in their facile win over Monaghan, and Donegal’s Jason McGee, who registered four points for Donegal in their victory over Armagh, are the other nominees.

Players of the Week are decided based on votes cast by followers of the Official GAA Instagram page.

Voting will close at 10 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday).
