A Roscommon hurler has been named on the GAA.ie Team of the Week.

Pádraig Pearses clubman Darragh Finn was selected on full back in the team after his excellent showing in Roscommon’s 2-17 to 0-12 victory against Armagh on Saturday last.

Finn struck over two points while he read the breaks expertly in last Saturday's Division Three contest. He was also instrumental in restricting hosts Armagh to just two points from play over the hour.

He was selected in defence alongside Cork duo Eoin Downey and Mark Coleman. Former All Ireland winners William O’Donoghue and Peter Casey were also named in the GAA.ie Team of the Week, highlighting how impressive Finn’s showing was on Saturday last.
